By pure coincidence, on the day the French motdujour came up "vendange", our backyard pinot noir was impatiently sampled. (We don't know what the heck we're doing...we didn't even expect our 2008 planting to survive.)

But look. And they're even tasty.

    If you crush it and let it ferment, you may get a thimble full of wine! Be sure to have a full bottle and a corkscrew on hand while you wait... ;)
