As often as we've been pruning and planting, and in Casey's case, sniffing around the plants in the yard, one would think that we would've run across a frog hanging out in the azaleas...like today.

Apparently these little guys are plentiful in Bellingham and Whatcom County. The morph version above is even capable of changing its hue, depending on not so much the surrounding color scheme but the lighting.
Today we stuck around long enough to probably annoy "Kermit" no end before settling for the best angle. Oddly enough Casey didn't seem to bother him one bit.
