OK, our very brief display of autumn colors are peaking, seasonal ales are lining grocery store shelves, and rain and scud obscure any semblance of sunset visuals.
But when our backyard sweetgum tree starts to look like it's ready to put on its own show, break out the rakes and get ready for the holidays...and long winter nights.
