End of an era

OK, "end of an era" was a little strong, but as of Monday, November 1st, our favorite trailhead was closed. Starting this week we'll have to access the Whatcom Falls interurban trail a half a mile further east, in unfamiliar territory, at Whatcom Falls Park.

So Sunday, we couldn't help using this route just one more time for old time sake.

The kid's a little resistant to change, like me.  I'll break it to him tomorrow.
