Brunch survivor

These two are gonna miss the clover, now adorning what's left of a summer lawn, sometimes more gold than green.

Soon one of their favorite distractions, this surviving kit, is likely to fall prey to a neighborhood cat, coyotes, or a red-tailed hawk. Sad but true...unless he's smart enough to get back to a warren in the greenbelt. 

But let's not think of that now - it's the weekend.
