Free-fall to misty refraction

Another incredible visual, and more than a subtle reminder of why we stay close to home in the summer. During an afternoon run, a pause to soak up the sights at Whatcom Falls caught not only the brute force from creek to plunge, but a lacy rainbow effect through the prisms of millions of escaping droplets.






Kind of a Rainbow Falls on a much smaller scale. But it catches your eye.
