Fruit of the vine surprise

Hard to believe...real pinot noir grapes!

A Mother's Day gift of a scrawny little plant over two years ago from our oldest son Joe is finally yielding a harvest fit for at least a jar of grape jelly, vintage 2010.

Go figure. One of the worst winters in decades in 2008 and this little guy will probably yield a crop fit for PB and J before you know it.
