Day of the Triffids (1962)
We have no idea if our hollyhocks are shills for triffids, but they're huge, one at least 11 feet high.  Is that normal??

If these guys uproot and start shuffling around on three appendages by Labor Day, we're outta here.  The sweet gum tree will be on its own.
